Adding invoices to Adfin

Four ways to get invoices into Adfin: drag-and-drop, accounting software, direct creation, and schedules.

Written by Angus Tylee

There are four ways to add invoices to Adfin. The right one depends on where your invoice starts its life.

Drag and drop an invoice file

If you've already got an invoice as a PDF or image, drag and drop it into Adfin. Our AI reads the file and pulls out the details (customer, amount, due date, line items) so you can check them before sending. You can drop one file or a batch.

Import from your accounting software

If you use Xero or QuickBooks, connect it once and Adfin imports approved invoices automatically. You can also bring in your historic invoices when you set things up.

Create an invoice directly in Adfin

You can build an invoice from scratch in Adfin. Handy if you're not using accounting software, or if you want to issue a one-off invoice quickly.

Set up recurring invoices or instalments

For invoices on a schedule (monthly retainers, subscriptions) or where the customer pays in stages, you can set up a recurring invoice or an instalment plan.
