Start in the Transactions dashboard. Every payout is listed there, and clicking a payout row shows exactly which payments and invoices it covers.
Check the timeline first
Most "missing" payouts are simply still in transit:
Direct debit, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Adfin bank transfer payments settle 2 working days after collection, batched into a single daily payout that typically lands around 11am UK time.
Payouts only go out on working days.
After a bank holiday, direct debit payments take 3 working days (rather than the usual 2 working days) to settle.
Pay by bank works differently: the money moves from your customer's bank straight to your own bank account, usually instantly, occasionally up to 2 hours, and each payment arrives individually rather than in a batch. One distinction worth knowing: this applies to the open-banking "pay by bank" option on payment links. If your customer instead pays the Adfin account details shown on their invoice, that's an Adfin bank transfer, which comes via Adfin on the 2-working-day payout above.

If the payout amount isn't what you expected
The usual reasons: payouts are batched (one payout covers everything settled that day), Adfin fees are collected separately rather than deducted, a failed payment that was already paid out is recouped from a later payout, and partial payments settle on their own timeline. Each is explained in Track your payouts, and clicking any payout row shows exactly which payments it covers.
If an invoice is marked paid but there's no payout at all
Check the invoice's Activity log. If it shows as Paid externally, the payment didn't go through Adfin: it was recorded in your accounting software or marked as paid another way, so there are no Adfin funds to pay out. Adfin applies the external payment so chasing stops and nothing is collected twice.
