Clients currently using another DD provider

Subject: Better direct debits

Hi XXXXX,

We’ve been using Adfin to help with our invoice collection, and I thought it might be worth sharing with you. It’s a more complete direct debit solution than GoCardless, here’s what stood out to us:

  • Lower fees, no charges for failed transactions

  • Automatic fallback to card if a direct debit fails

  • All payment methods in one place, including Apple Pay and open banking

  • Automated reminders and chasing to save you time

  • Easier reconciliation with your accounting software

  • Daily payouts not weekly ;)

And it’s cheaper than any other payment provider we’ve looked at
Let me know if you'd like me to connect you with their team or send more info. Could be worth a look!

Using multiple disjointed payment platforms

Subject: Disjointed Payment Setup

Hi XXXX,

Just sharing something we’ve started using that’s made a real difference. We used to rely on different tools for direct debit, card payments, and chasing, but we’ve now moved to Adfin, and it’s been a big improvement. Thought it might be worth checking out.

What we like so far:

  • One platform for Direct Debits, Cards, Apple Pay, and open banking

  • Automated reminders (including Whatsapp and SMS reminders) so we’re not chasing manually

  • Clear reporting and daily payouts

  • And it’s cheaper than any other payment provider we’ve looked at

If it sounds interesting, happy to intro you or send more info.

Clients spending time chasing payments

Subject: You could spend less time chasing invoices

Hi XXXXX,

We’ve been using Adfin to help with our invoice collection, and I thought it might be worth sharing with you as it’s really taken the stress out of chasing overdue payments.

Here’s what we’ve liked so far:

  • Automated reminders that follow up for you, including Whatsapp and SMS free of charge!

  • Seamless payment experience that make it easy for clients to pay - including Apple Pay.

  • One place to track everything, no more checking multiple places!

Let me know if you'd like me to connect you with their team or send more info. Could be worth a look.

Collecting on ma bank transfers

Subject: Improve your invoice collection

Hi [XXXX],

Wanted to pass this on in case it’s helpful. We’ve been using Adfin to collect payments and it’s made a big difference. I know many businesses still rely on manual bank transfers, but Adfin has made it much easier for clients to pay and has automated a lot of the reconciliation work.

Here’s what we’ve seen so far:

  • Clients can pay by Apple Pay, card, direct debit, or open banking

  • Everything is tracked in one place

  • We get paid faster, with fewer failed payments

  • And it’s cheaper than any other payment provider we’ve looked at

Let me know if you’d like more info or an intro to their team.

Best,

Collecting on standing orders

Subject: Better than standing orders

Hi XXXX,

Just wanted to share something in case it's useful if you are collecting via standing orders. We've been using Adfin to collect payments, and it solves a lot of the common issues face when collecting using this method.

The usual problems with standing orders:

  • No notifications if a payment fails

  • Manual checks and time-consuming reconciliation

  • Difficult to change the payment amount - need to request it to your clients

  • Setup is a hassle for clients

With Adfin’s direct debits, you get:

  • Easy setup for your clients

  • Notifications for successful or failed transactions

  • Automatic reconciliation

  • Full control over the amount collected

  • Built-in fallback if a payment fails (retry DD or switch to card, Apple Pay, etc.)

Let me know if you’d like me to share more details or intro you to their team.

Growing business, need scalability

Subject: Scaling our payments without the admin

Hi [XXXX],

Just wanted to share something that’s helped us stay on top of collections as we’ve grown. We started using Adfin to automate our payment process and I thought it might be worth sharing with you.

What we like so far:

  • All payment methods in one place - so you can stop looking at reports from different places!

  • Automated reminders (email, WhatsApp, SMS) to get the credit control done on autopilot!

  • Easy-to-use dashboard to track all payments and highlight those at risk

  • Daily payouts and full visibility

  • API integration if needed for more control

  • And it’s cheaper than any other payment provider we’ve looked at

It’s saved us a lot of time. Let me know if you want to hear more or get an intro.

A great and real example from an Adfin customer

Subject: Simplifying Payments - Moving to Adfin

Dear [Name],

I hope this message finds you well.

To make payments simpler and more efficient, we’re moving all invoice payments to Adfin, a UK-based payment provider. Over the coming weeks, we’ll gradually transition away from Stripe, GoCardless, and bank transfers, bringing everything under one streamlined system.

Why Adfin?

Adfin specialises in flexible payment solutions and understands that every business is different. Their custom workflows will allow us to communicate more effectively with you about payments - even offering options like WhatsApp reminders instead of just email. Their fees are also slightly lower than GoCardless, so if you’d like an introduction for your own business, just let us know.

Why we’re making this change

Currently, we support multiple payment methods, which makes reconciliation more complex and time-consuming. As a growing business, better forecasting and efficiency mean we can spend more of our time delivering value to you, rather than managing admin.

What this means for you

  • Monthly payments - You’ll receive a new Direct Debit Mandate shortly. If you already pay via GoCardless, your Direct Debit will be moved over automatically - no need to cancel your existing setup.

  • No Direct Debit? - If you do not currently have a Direct Debit set up, now is the time to set one up.

  • One-off payments - We’ll still offer Credit/Debit Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, just as we did with Stripe.

What if I need to make a change to my bank account or package?

There’s no change to how you communicate updates to us. Simply let us know as you do now, and we’ll update Adfin accordingly. It works just like any other Direct Debit you use for business or personal payments.

What are the next steps?

Keep an eye out for an email from Adfin with your Direct Debit Mandate. Once signed, all invoices will be automatically collected through this method.

Thank you for your continued support as we make this improvement - we’re confident it will make things easier for everyone.
