🔒Enabling MFA for your account
🔒Enabling MFA for your account
Only Super Admins and Admins can enable or disable MFA enforcement.
You can manage MFA settings here:
Once MFA is enabled, all users on the account will be required to set it up the next time they log in.
Once enabled, all users on your account will be asked to set up MFA the next time they login.
🔑 Setting up MFA
🔑 Setting up MFA
After MFA has been enabled for your account, the next time you log in you will be prompted to:
Scan a QR code using your preferred authenticator app (read more below)
Enter the one-time code generated by the app to complete setup
That’s it — MFA will then be active on your account.
Authenticator apps
You can use any standard authenticator app, including:
(You can download these directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
How the authenticator app works
Once you’ve downloaded an authenticator app, you’ll be asked to scan a QR code during setup. This securely links the app to your Adfin account.
After that initial setup:
The app will generate a new one-time code every 30 seconds.
When you’re asked for a one-time code, simply open the app and enter the current code.
You won’t need to scan the QR code again unless you’re setting up MFA on a new device.
The codes are generated directly on your device, so you don’t need an internet connection to use them.
⚙️ Managing your MFA
⚙️ Managing your MFA
You can remove the authenticator app linked to your Adfin account at any time by visiting:
If you remove MFA from your user while MFA is still enforced for the account, you’ll be prompted to set it up again the next time you sign in.
💡How MFA works across multiple accounts
If any one account you’re linked to enforces MFA, you’ll be required to use MFA when logging into all Adfin accounts associated with your user — even if some of those accounts do not have MFA enforced.
